It’s July 4th week, so many of us have a short work week or maybe even have the entire week off!!!
We are staying home this July 4th because my husband is getting ready to leave on a big golf trip. We’ll still grill out and maybe watch some fireworks though. There are huge fireworks in Cary at the amphitheater but the crowds and traffic are unreal! We went the very first year we lived here and haven’t been back since. Big crowds are not for us!! We need to find a spot to watch the fireworks but be away from the venue. Let me know if you live here and know of a place!!

Last week I stopped into the Pink Magnolia Boutique and was blown away by the adorable new arrivals!!
This jumpsuit was hanging on the wall and one of the first pieces I noticed when I walked in!! The bright coral color just screams Summer and looks great with sun-kissed skin!! I’m wearing a medium for a little more length in the torso. I’m only 5’3″ and the length is perfect for me, so if you’re taller, it will probably fit more like a cropped pant. But equally as cute!
Wouldn’t this be perfect for a beach trip? Or for a night out worn with heels?
I’m a huge fan of stripes. Like my closet is overflowing with so many different stripe pieces, but they are all so different! This striped blouse was a must-have. I love the wide stripes, the thin material and the frayed hem. Knotted with jean shorts makes it so laid-back, but I also love it loose and flowy with a pair of skinny jeans! I think this will also work into the Fall with a cardi layered over it!!

I love wearing color!! It just makes me so happy. This off the shoulder top mixes 2 great Summer colors…green and coral…in a fun palm print!! This is another piece that can be styled numerous ways. It would look relaxed with a great pair of distressed jean shorts and flip flops.
For a beach vacation this Summer, this top is a must!!
