The Alida, Savannah GA

It had been 8 months since Katey and I had gotten together! That’s a crazy long time for us…usually it’s 3-4 months at most. So we decided we needed a little getaway to hang out and get photos together! We invited our mom to join us, and had a fabulous ladies weekend.

We were given the opportunity to stay at the fairly new Alida hotel in Savannah, GA and jumped at the chance to visit. Katey had never been to Savannah and it had been many years since I had, and mom was just excited to spend some time with us, so we were super excited to visit the beautiful city in the South!

The Alida, Savannah, GA

The Alida is nestled in the revitalized Riverfront district, right along the Savannah River. The area is full of shopping, restaurants and is a great spot to sit and look at the water and watch the HUGE container ships sail by. They are amazing to see up close.

The Alida, hotel lobby

The decor of The Alida is gorgeous…Southern charm meets Urban oasis. Stunning! It’s a huge lobby space filled with multiple seating areas to sit and chat…Keep, their shopping corner filled with local goodies to buy…and the Trade Room, where you can enjoy a cocktail.

The Alida, The Trade Room

How gorgeous are the green and blue velvet in the Trade Room? Love it!

The Alida, pool

Located off the Trade Room, is their gorgeous pool area. A great place to soak up the Southern sun and relax. The heat of the Summer months in the South can get intense, so cooling off by the pool is a great luxury!!

The Alida, room details

We know what’s important when visiting a hotel…the room!! The Alida offers inviting rooms and suites. All with a huge oversized window to let in the natural light and to offer gorgeous views. And each room comes with King sized beds, even the double bed rooms!!! I love that!

The Alida, water station

Each floor of The Alida has a water station. Water bottles are provided at the front desk.

The Alida, Rhett

So we basically ate our way through Savannah. Two of our three mornings were spent at Rhett, the Alida’s restaurant. Their brunch is amazing and a must-have during your stay. Again, the decor is stunning.

We also ate dinner at the Rhett one night, also delicious!!

The Alida, Rhett

Whether you’re visiting Savannah for the first time or you’re a regular…a stay at The Alida is a must! It has it all…location, comfort and fab amenities. I know we’ll be back!
