Do you shave your face?
Removing peach fuzz and dead skin cells can help to brighten your face and allow your makeup to go on more smooth. A couple times a month can make all the difference.
I thought I’d share my favorite razors from Walmart as well as the skin care products I use before and after shaving.
First of all, the razors. I love these. I get a few uses out of each razor. You’ll be amazed at how much comes off your face! Be careful – they are sharp. Keep your razor at a 45 degree angle and go slow. I glide the razor in a down motion in short swipes. My main focus is around my cheek area and upper lip. That’s where I really notice the biggest difference.
The most asked question is always: will my hair grow back darker or thicker? The answer is no. You don’t have to worry about having to shave more often or having “darker” peach fuzz grow in.

L’Oreal Age Perfect night cream
After shaving, I apply my favorite toner. Seriously – this one is SO good. Months ago I shared this toner as a top pick from Walmart’s extensive beauty selections. Just $8 but it works so well.
I use it every morning and night after washing my face. So hydrating and it gives a slight cooling effect. I just apply it with a cotton ball, then let it dry.

Follow up your toner with a serum such as this Brightening Serum by Versed. Not too oily or sticky so it dries really nice.
Versed is a clean skincare line at Walmart that is effective and affordable. I’ve really liked everything I’ve tried in this line.
Last, but definitely not least, is a high quality nighttime moisturizer. I really like this Loreal Age Perfect moisturizer.
