Typically you either love working out or you don’t.

I’ve consistently worked out since Middle School. Betsy and I have always been active and played sports and I can remember getting up before school everyday and doing aerobics. Ha! That was the big workout back then.
Now my workouts are 30 mins or less and typically HIIT style workouts. I’ve had so many of you asking for me to share my top favorite workouts so here are a few of them! Be sure to scroll down to the end where I’m sharing my favorite sites for finding these workouts.

LEGS:
This workout takes closer to 40/45 mins. But it’s worth it and you’ll be sore!
* Strength (12 mins) 4 rounds 60 sec. on/30 sec. rest
–Bulgarian Split Squat – left
–Bulgarian Split Squat – right
After the 4 rounds above
glute raises on your back – 60 sec.
*Density hiit – 2 rounds 30 sec. on/ 0 sec. rest. Then rest 1:30. Then 2 more rounds.
-Squats
-Reverse alternate lunge
-Burpees
*Finisher – complete as many rounds as possible in 4 mins.
-squat jumps – 10
– mountain climbers – 10
– ice skaters – 10

TREADMILL WORKOUT:
I’m not the biggest runner. My husband and I ran a half-marathon years ago and that was about the extent of that. I enjoy an occasional run around the block with the kids or challenge on the treadmill. This one is so good!! Even if you only do half of this run workout – that’s awesome!!
Every 2 minutes you adjust the incline and speed.

HIIT WORKOUT
A fun total body workout that takes less than 30 minutes!
Set 1 – 30 sec. burpees, 10 sec. rest
30 sec. jumping jacks, 10 sec. rest
*repeat 2 more times
4 mins: (1 minute for each exercise)
-walking lunges holding weights
– jump rope
-step box jumps
-sprint, then 5 push-ups (no room to sprint? leapfrog then do 5 push-ups)
Set 2 – 30 sec. squat jumps, 10 sec. rest
30 sec. skaters, 10 sec. rest
*repeat 2 more times
then 4 mins. from above
Set 3 – 30 sec. mountain climbers, 10 sec. rest
30 sec. high knees, 10 sec. rest
*repeat 2 more times
then 4 mins. from above
Set 4 – 30 sec. kettelball swings, 10 sec. rest
30 sec. in/out squats, 10 sec. rest
