Heading into Fall with Walmart

Happy Monday!! The start of a new week…and back to school for my two kiddos.

It’s an exciting day, both kids are now in high school. My daughter is excited to be starting her Junior year, 1/2 way through high school. And my son is excited to now be a Freshman. And as fun as it is, I can’t help thinking about these last few years having them home. It’s wonderful seeing them grow into young adults, but I’m not ready for them to leave for college.

The start of a new school year also symbolizes the upcoming Fall season!! My fav…cooler weather, gorgeous leaves, football season, yummy foods. I could go on and on. But I also love Fall fashion.

And one of the places we look to first for both cute and affordable Fall fashion is Walmart. They have a huge selection of trendy pieces and great basics. And they offer FREE next day delivery, FREE 2 day shipping and in store pickup!! I love all the shipping options.

So I have a weakness for blouses. Something about the flow and ease of them just gets me. They can go casual or dressy…and really work for all seasons. I found a great selection of blouses for Fall at Walmart.

This first ruffled blouse is so pretty. I love the one shoulder/cold shoulder silhouette. It comes in 3 colors, including a fun floral print. I’m wearing a size small. I love the blouse paired with this denim skirt.

I thought the denim skirt with it’s distressing, raw hem and acid wash finish was a fun addition to my closet for Fall. I’m wearing a size 2, but probably should’ve sized down to a 0 for a tighter fit. But it is actually such a comfortable denim skirt. Sometimes they can be stiff but not this one. It’s got great stretch and is super soft. Easy to walk and sit in!!

My second blouse is a fun babydoll/peplum blouse. It comes in 7 colors and I’m wearing a size small. It’s actually so good that my 16 year old daughter already claimed it for her closet!!! This blouse also comes in a long sleeve version here.

I decided to pair the loose blouse with a more structured jean to balance the look. Walmart has a huge selection of great denim, especially the Sofia Vergara denim collection. This mid rise skinny jean has so much stretch and great distressing. Two things I look for in denim. I’m wearing my normal size 2.

I also need to take a moment to share these snakeskin mules!! Would you believe they are only $17?? What? So good. They also come in black. And I’m wearing my true size 8. Snakeskin is huge this Fall season. I’ve been seeing it everywhere. Adding touches of the print to a look is an easy way to wear the trend.
