Summer Maxi Dress with We Dress America at Walmart

Today’s post is about one of Summer’s best dresses…the maxi dress!!

The Dress:

I love dresses in the Summer because they are an instant outfit and are usually cool and breezy for the Summer heat! And boy do we have heat here in the South!! This one is adorable with it’s tiny polka dot pattern, smocked top and ruffle hem. So many great details. The smocked top is tight enough that you can tuck the straps in if you want a strapless dress look. It also helps give shape to the dress. Sometimes maxi dresses can be so much material, they don’t offer any shape. The smocking and empire waist make this dress one that will work for so many different body types.

I paired a pretty Summer sandal (which I talk about below) with this dress, but you could easily dress it up with an ankle strap heel or go more casual with a flat sandal. With this versatility, it will work for all the Summer events, weddings, showers, brunch, beach vacations. You name it!!

Moving on to the sandals. I know they are hard to see with the long dress, but they are adorable! Dusty rose and perforated! The sandals also have a block heel, which makes them more comfortable to wear and walk in. I wore them earlier this week with jeans, and they were just as cute. So they are the type of sandal that can be worn with so many of your Summer outfits.
