How to style sneakers with Evereve – Part 1: High-tops

One of the biggest trends that carries over Season to Season is sneakers!  And not just plain ‘ol white sneakers, but think fun colors, textures, and prints.  From low styles to high-tops – they are so fun to style and incredibly comfy.

We are excited to partner with Evereve to share how we like to style our p448 sneakers.  We’ll be sharing all our looks in 2 posts.  Today is all about the high-top and tomorrow Betsy will share her low sneakers.

Can anyone wear a high-top sneaker? YES!

I know it can seem too edgy and maybe out of your comfort zone but I’m excited to share 2 looks today that still have classic touches to them and look fabulous with these trendy sneakers.

First off – how cool are these sneakers!! This calf hair high top has the prettiest print with black leather detail.

I thought it would be fun to mix this edgy high top with a classic midi skirt.  So fun and a little unexpected.  Running errands, teacher style, brunch, or happy hour – I think this look would be perfect!
I always love an oversized sweater and this ribbed pullover has the perfect slouchy, laid-back feel.

Another style idea:

Another way to style your sneakers is of course with jeans!  You know we love our jeans.

Kicking this up a notch with a fun ankle flare jean.  My number one tip when pairing a flare jean with high-tops is to make sure there is a little ankle showing between the jeans and the sneaker.

Being 5’3″, I tend to have to cut most of my jeans as I did here with this pair.  I took about 2 inches off the length.  Want to know how we cut our jeans? It’s saved in a highlight icon (“tips”) in our Instagram profile.

You really can’t go wrong with a jeanstee, and sneaker combo!  It’s an easy way to start styling a fun pair of sneakers.

Isn’t the inseam so fun!

moto jacket – size xs
This moto jacket looks like leather but has a comfortable stretch to it making it easy and comfortable to style.
Thought I’d share one more combo below to show how cute the jacket looks dressed up a little too.

A special Thanks to Evereve for collaborating on this post!
