Even now, with extra time on our hands, we are all still looking for a little more convenience in our days. I mean we may not have many places to go, but we can all appreciate more free time to do what we really want to be doing. Katey recently started using Walmart to have her groceries delivered, so I decided to look into it too.
Now Walmart offers Walmart+. It’ll make your grocery shopping stress-free and easy.
It’s a fast sign up process…and only $12.95 a month or $98 for the year. If you’re still unsure, you can even do a 15 day FREE trial. Once set up, place your order (a $35 minimum purchase required, restrictions apply) and, if you live in a qualifying area, you can receive free unlimited delivery to your home at the time you select. It doesn’t get much easier than that!!
The other cool feature, that I haven’t seen anywhere else, is the Walmart+ mobile scan & go feature. While shopping in the store, sign into your Walmart app, scan the bar codes on the items you are purchasing, then go to self check-out to finish the transaction. Again, fast and easy.
And there is still one more feature to your Walmart+ membership. You’ll receive member prices on fuel so you can save 5ยข per gallon at Walmart and Murphy gas stations. Those savings will really add up!
Of course free unilimited deliveries ($35 minimum, restrictions apply) is wonderful for our weekly groceries…but think of all the other times where it’s so convenient to not have to worry or find the time to run to the store. Busy running kids around town, getting ready for company or family to visit, not feeling well, just arriving home after a vacation…
When getting back home after a vacation or a weekend getaway, there are always so many things that need to get done. The car needs to be unpacked, the suitcases/bags need to be unpacked (ugh!), the laundry needs to get done and the kitchen needs to be restocked. This is the perfect time to use Walmart+.
We recently traveled to Nashville for a quick getaway and I have to say, getting home and knowing I didn’t need to race to the store was a huge relief!! I usually like to cook a healthy meal the day we get back home, you know, after eating out while on vacation. It’s nice and all, but I’m always ready to get back to our healthier home cooked meals. I placed my order online the morning we left Nashville and scheduled it to deliver to my house when I knew we’d be back home!! We got home, unpacked the car, and I was all set to cook dinner. Game changer!!
I made sure I ordered the must-haves to get us through those first few days back home…including my favorite k-cup coffee. HeHe. I love how Walmart carries the bigger box of my preferred k-cups!
